COMPETITION GUIDELINE
Language accepted in this competition are English and Malay. Abstract, e-book chapter and Video Presentation may be in these languages.
Maximum number of members in each group is 10. Groups that contain more than 10 members will need to remove the extra members or form another innovation group.
Juries of this event MAY NOT be the participant at the same time.

There are two main categories of participation in i-SIC V.
1) Innovation Idea
2) Innovation Product/Project
2) Innovation Product/Project
This is to ensure that good ideas will compete with ideas only, while good innovation projects (with products) will compete fairly with products.
INNOVATION IDEA
Choose to present via a virtual poster (and upload on Youtube) if you are at the "idea" stage, WITHOUT product.
INNOVATION PRODUCT/PROJECT
Choose to present your product and all related supporting materials and upload on Youtube if you already HAVE THE INNOVATION PRODUCT.
Then choose which sub-category your idea/product suits in, as listed at i-SIC V Home:
1) Social Sciences
2) Science & Technology
3) Innovation in Education and Teaching

Participants will receive a letter of acceptance from the organizer if the abstract is accepted after being evaluated.

Participants need to pay the fees and fill in the Google Form by attaching the proof of fees payment, report (PRODUCT) or poster (IDEA) and the YouTube link of the presentation. Without the proof and link, the Form will not be able to be submitted through the system.
Record your presentation within 4-6 minutes and UPLOAD on YOUTUBE. Submit the Google Form with the YouTube link before or on the deadline. NO OTHER FORMS of virtual submission is accepted. The secretariat will upload the video again into AID/i-SIC V Youtube channel. This is to assist juries to judge the entries by participants.
All participants need to make sure the video uploaded on YouTube must be set PUBLIC or UNLISTED.

E-BOOK CHAPTER (OPTIONAL)
Submitting an e-book chapter for the innovation product or idea is an OPTION. For innovators who need a publication of their innovation product or idea, this is a great chance to all. The chapter will be published in the I-SIC V e-book. The e-book will come with the e-ISBN from the National Library of Malaysia.
The e-book chapter must be written between 1000 to 1500 words (excluding references). The template of the e-book chapter can be accessed here:

JUDGING
Participants are required to present their innovation idea or innovation product through a pre-recorded video presentation, uploaded on YouTube and submit the link in the registration Google Form.
